Nothing more humbling than to compete against North America’s best CW
contesters. The good thing is that I am improving and not giving up.

My goal was to call CQ and get experience running in a contest. I averaged
69 QSOs/hour for the 9.5 hours of operation. Maximum rates got to be 90+
QSOs/hour. It was intense but a lot of fun. I still have a long way to go.

Thanks KJ5Y (Scott), KG5U, WB5TUF, NM5M and many others who gave me a QSO. –
