Jonathan,
It should be fine. You can score your own operation and send it in. The remote station will send in a separate score combining all the operators. I was hoping to work the WPX contest from home, for at least a little while. How does this remote operation affect those plans? It's a unique opportunity to operate and learn about the two different remote systems - Software based, KJ5Y, and Hardware based, WG5H. Both stations have superb setup for working DX. KJ5Y - Remote Hams software, 20 meter dipole at 120 feet, 1.3 KW, N1MM software WG5H - Remote Rig hardware, 10-20 meter beam at 135 feet, 500 watts, N1MM software Both call signs are excellent multipliers for the WPX contest. So, be prepared to work some pileups. Nizar K0NM -- Jonathan Guthrie KA8KPN
