We have taken the early bird requests and added them into the system, which
will be on line soon. First, a couple of rules:

1. Arrive 15 minutes early to your slot or lose it.

2. If the assigned operator does not arrive to claim his/her slot, it
will be open to anyone else.

3. You must leave you operating position when your slot is finished.

4. Slots are two hours unless a previous agreement has been made to
share it.

5. An operator cannot reserve two slots in a row on the same
band/mode. However, he/she may reserve a slot on another band/mode and just
move operating positions.

6. Rules are flexible when there are no operators to claim a position,
i.e. late night/early morning.

7. Disputes will be decided by KD5FBA or N5XZ.

We will be providing a link to access the system. After clicking the link,
you will have the choice of modes CW, SSB or RTTY. Then you can pick you
slot or slots. Conflicts for slot selection will be first come, first serve
based on timestamp info. Jeff, KG5LRP is handling the input. He will then
send you a confirmation. He will possibly post a schedule periodically, we
haven't worked that out yet. Any questions can go to me or technical issues
to Jeff at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> . If you need to
change your assigned slot, please contact Jeff ASAP.

If you want to team up with somebody that is fine. Also, if you just want to
listen and learn, there will be Y-adapters and extra headsets at each
station.

For those who can circulate this information to Echo or KARS, please do so.

More on this later!
