Our paths cross on the repeater in frequently. That day I was talking
with you... all of a sudden I heard nothing. Looked down and radio was
off. Blew the fuse as I was using the cigarette lighter for power and
high power on the radio made the plug quite warm. Have had the car 10
years and first time I put a radio in it. Short QSO's it seems okay.
Longer ones it get hot. Should have thrown it in lower power :-)
Did not want you to think I just fell off the face of the earth.
