OK guys, a few facts here:

   1) EM radiation (visible light, IR, UV, X/Gamma rays) from
the Sun travel at the speed of light at c = 186,000 miles/sec.,
   2) CME are plasma masses which move much slower
at most 1000 miles/sec. which is slower than c, and
   3) 48 hours would correspond to a CME moving at about
    500 miles/sec. to cover 96,000,000 miles.

In any case, let's hope/pray that this killer CME misses us
in two days!

The sun is 8.3 light minutes from Earth, not 48 hours....

2 hours ago, we had an X-class solar flare above 10. It was
followed by a large Coronal Mass Ejection.

While it is still being modeled, it will impact earth within 48
    hours.

    Likely effects:

    1. Large-scale power grid disruption on the sun-facing side of
    the earth during impact

    2. Large-scale disruption of communications:

    A. HF Radio blackout

    B. Satellite blackout

    C. Data/Cellular loss of information

    D. Damage to computer systems

    3. Earthquakes during compression of the earth’s magnetopause.

    public is limited. Please distribute.
