The BVARC web page used to have all the Houston area frequencies listed, don't remember if it was cross linked from another group, but would be a good idea to return, especially for use in times of weather events.

Salt Grass Link system used to have a site with their linked repeaters (Haven't checked in a long time, but a Google search should turn up the site.)

ALSO: Don't forget the ARRL Repeater book, most ham stores carry it, or go to:  www.ARRL.org   store to order a copy, which now offers a CD copy to use in programming most newer radios.

Howard Bingham, who cut his ham teeth on a nearly 20 year old Yaesu FT-727R (Which I am told was the first Yaesu HT to offer a built in PL tone card.).

Check repeaterbook.com <http://repeaterbook.com> for local frequencies...444.3 is IRLP tied to the Western Intertie System...so it's active all the time Some UHF repeaters are closed...the listing on repeaterbook will show if open or closed

Scanned my UHF radio tons and only found one frequency 444.300
PL123.0 operating at all hours of the day and night, which is
fantastic but wondering if that is the only one for Harris - Ft.
    Bend - Montgomery County?
I enjoy listening in and occasionally joining in, could someone
    please advise.

    Thanks
