I asked her to get a quote for this ad - Page A5, nationwide distribution, etc. I didn’t tell her which ad in particular because she’s an Obama supporter (there are reasons why we divorced.) She got the quote: $119,574 So, whoever is up to this is willing to put some money behind it. I have been digging for intel and these people have managed to maintain some pretty good security. They are organized, they are buying and stealing weapons. ATF is reporting a huge uptick in gun-store burglaries. My position is fixed. I swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic - so help me God. There was no expiration date. Coinciding with this “event” is a DoD exercise with MARS for a “grid-down” drill. Hams will be encouraged to activate ARES and other organizations for a 60m net. The timing is troubling. *** What can we hams do? Aside from being as prepared as possible, we should be participating in the 60m nets. This just in case the exercise goes “hot” and we are truly needed. I would further point out that our 60m allocations are very,very small and consist of “channels”. Most of us do not use 60m. Between now and then, I advise that you get your station ready and tested for operation on these channels.
