Well I’ve been on 20 and 40 will the SKCC WES contest and the bands are awful.
Great practice with QRN though

Finally.I now understand why they call it Sporadic E propagation. It only works
sporadically.
Sitting on 10 meter band calling CQ with no response for half an hour, and then
suddenly, out of the blue, a call from the NE. A minute later he is gone.
Sporadic indeed.
