Sleep deprivation may increase amyloid-beta buildup in brain 

Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis found
that people who had inadequate sleep had 25% to 30% higher amyloid-beta
levels than those with undisturbed sleep, and their levels were similar to
those of people with a genetic risk of developing early-onset Alzheimer's
disease. The findings in Annals of Neurology
