Please remember that the contest starts at 1600 UTC and not 0600 UTC as I
had mentioned earlier in my e-mail

Also, the power output is limited to 100 watts for this contest.

Subject: NAQP CW contest this weekend

This weekend is the NAQP CW contest. It runs for 12 hours but you are
limited to operating only 10 hours. It is a fun contest and a good time to
pick up some states on the low bands. It starts at 0600 UTC on January 13.
You can find the rules to operate this contest at the following link.

http://www.ncjweb.com/NAQP-Rules.pdf

Even if you are not a full-fledged CW contester or a regular CW operator,
you can still have some fun making some CW contacts. The exchange is a very
simple NAME and STATE. Simply program this exchange and your call sign in
your Rig to make it easier to operate this contest. An example of this for
me would be NIZAR TX.

In case you want to try using N1MM, you can use this call history file to
automatically look up the other person's information and fill that into the
exchange box. The Call History File is attached if you need it.

Get on the air and give us some local operators operating the contest. We
will definitely slow down for you if you send your call sign at the speed
you feel comfortable at.

73, Nizar K0NM
