CQ CQ CQ! Antennas will be delivered and we will begin setting up tomorrow. See
Bill’s message below. Help is needed.

If you come out and I hope that you will, you need to bring drinking water, a
hat and sun screen. Gloves might be a good idea as well.

There is no rain forecast, but the humidity will be high. Insect repellant
might also be the order of the day.

Scott:

I have all of the antennas loaded for tomorrow delivery and setup, including a
6 element 6M beam (six is wide open, as I write this email). Will load the
cable and be at the site about 10:30 or 11AM tomorrow.

I have the keys to the site now for I picked them up this evening.

I hope to have the two lifts at the site by 10am and then go pick up the
trailer with all of the cabling loaded, as well. If you would, please resend
this email to all as a personal invite to come to one of the best Field Day
events ever.

Appreciate your help..

Bill

Bill,

If you need help with anything tomorrow at field day, I am available, but will
either need a ride to the site from home or ride my bicycle. My truck is in the
shop until next week.

I am at home if you or Robert need to see if we can make a connection with
internet.

My cell number is 281-543-8376.

Scott

all

The large first aid bag has been found. It is a long story. Only 3 things need
to be replaced to bring it up to date.

The meetings are behind us and the event is just down the road. The last three
most important things are left:

1. Everyone that would like to operate needs to sign up on the list on the
BVARC web site.

2. Invite anyone you can think of. The more the merrier.

3. Talk the event up – on the repeaters, on HF, even at work on the
elevator. The more the merrier?

If you would like to volunteer, contact either myself or Scott Medbury and let
us know.

Also, a few items are missing from the warehouse:

1. The First Aid kit/bag

2. The BVARC banner

3. The BVARC flag

If you know where the missing items are, please let someone on the BOD know.

Hope to see everyone at Field Day!
