ARRL Field Day 2018

Duhascek Park, Sugarland Texas

We are operating as 10A STX using the BVARC club call sign KK5W and the
GOTA station is using the Katy club call Kt5TX

The first set of antennas in the video are for CW operation, the 2nd set of
antennas are for phone operations. Both sets of antennas on the lifts
consist of a tri-band for 10-15-20 meters, a mono-band for 40 meters and an
80 meter dipole setup as an inverted V. The digital stations have a
tri-band for 10-15-20 and a 40/80 meter dipole setup as an inverted V. The
tower for 6 meters has a 5 element yagi and ground plane for 2 meters. The
majority of the feed line is 1/2 heliax or LMR-400 type.

10A STX is a classification that means we are setup running 10 transceivers
on emergency power (generator) in South Texas

All of the transceivers are Elecraft K3 or K3s models running 100 watts

This is a combined effort of:
Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club
Katy Amateur Radio Society
Texas DX Society
Houston ECHO
