I am truly amazed at the tremendous diversity that exists in the people who are ham radio operators. What a fantastically talented bunch of people we have in our hobby from all walks of life. Most importantly, the minute you meet another ham, it is like meeting a member of the family.
As in all families, we have differing views, beliefs and interests about our hobby. Some like contesting, some like rag chewing, some like CW, some like SSB and some like Digital. Fortunately, there is plenty of diversity in the technology to satisfy almost everyone. We also have learnt to accept the diversity of thinking that goes along with the diversity of our family members. Perhaps, the most important part about this hobby is that no matter what our differences are, we are all a member of the world-wide 'Ham' family. Nizar K0NM
