Soapbox : I had problems with N1MM and gave up early. Among the
problems:

- In S&P mode, once hit the F4 to send call and it sent my call continuously
until I killed the program.
- Several times spontaneously changed from S&P mode to Run mode
- Twice spontaneously switched to phone mode and gave errors that it couldn't
find the .wav files for the function keys. In both cases I had to reload the
contest database to restore the function key assignments.

I don't think that it was rf getting into the computer because everything else
still worked normally. I had upgraded to N1MM version 1.0.7208.0 just before
the contest. FRUSTRATING!

Thanks Allen. And thanks for calling me for QSOs. It’s a good thing I have
learned to recognize your call at 40 wpm. Otherwise, it would have been too
fast for this old man.

It was good to see participation by TDXS and BVARC. I heard several people.
IZO, Robie (couldn’t quite pull him out of the pileup), W5FMH and TKI. Thanks
guys. Enjoyed hearing from people I know.

Practiced a little SO2R during slow times. Picked up several multipliers doing
that. We need to get GN to give a talk about this to a joint TDXS + BVARC
meeting.
