Setting aside the silliness about when the BOD meets, I have reached the inescapable conclusion that it is time for me to step down as the One-year At-Large Representative. Not that I particularly want to, but my health has seemed to have entered a power dive since May and the doctors say time isn't on my side. Of course I'm aware that the position is normally occupied by the out-going club president, giving it a certain advisory air, but it also is a full voting member of the Board. That's why I feel it best that the Board have the option of naming a replacement who is able to make it to the meetings and vote knowledgeably. Regrettably, I no longer fit that description.
