I heard VERY few Texas Stations and they were mobile operating from multiple counties. I only had 29 contacts. I heard Ross, W5HFF, but he never heard me and he was on 20 meters. Noise on 40 was horrible and like you most of my contacts were out of state. You could draw a line 250 miles from my QTH and I could hear nothing closer. 73 ...
