This afternoon Marlene Keener, Jo's wife, informed me that Jo's surgery went well and time will tell how successful it was. The surgery was on his neck. Some calcification had been causing nerve impingement. The surgery to address this issue should result in improved grip and balance.
Please keep Jo in your prayers as he recovers. If you would like to visit him, you can see him at Sugar Land Methodist Hospital. He is in room 622. It would probably be best to wait until Wednesday to visit him as the surgery was today. He can be reached at 281-274-7000. Ask for room 622.
