I find files for UV-5R, in fact found one at https://harriscountyares.org/radios/, but although I uploaded a previous image file of my own into the radio, when I open this file (uv-5r.img) the upload fails consistently.
Let me say right up front that I am very new to this and although I have had some success, I don’t really feel in control of all the elements, so some of the success came from luck in that downloaded things worked without requiring much from me. Any, and I mean any, sources, tips, comments welcome. Thanks Rick KG5ITH Houston
