We tested the free version of Zoom for the KARS board meeting last week. When we got close to the 40 minute mark, we all got a pop-up that the the 40 minute limit was temporarily suspended and the meeting continued

After the meeting I signed KARS up for the $15 a month plan for the foreseeable future. Even after this is over, we may continue to host normal meetings this way to give those unable to attend in person a way to participate or watch at a later date

Good.  The organizer needs to have a purchased licensed. (If not, then the Zoom meeting is limited to 40 minutes.) Everyone else can use the free app.  I will likely have one next week as we are thinking of using it for our Church.  Pursuant to Mike’s thoughts, I could start by trying this the coming Monday and Tuesday.  FCC rules did not allow re-broadcasts, though, and I suppose this is still the same.  So, this would likely need to be relayed, and this may be less convenient.  Anyone know the rules here?

Mark,

Would like to try it.  My wife has used Zoom here and I have the ap loaded in my Mac.  Sure when it works for you.  May have to give me some beginners instructions.  I have used Go To Meeting so I suspect it is similar.

Thanks for the offer.

    Rick,
I may be able to assist by setting up a Zoom invitation at the
same time if we can think of a way to incorporate it with the
radio portion.  (Not sure, though if I can be there every day.
Maybe, but maybe a couple of the weekdays.  Not worried, since I
am sure others have Zoom accounts as well.) What do you think?

Going out of your gourd being locked down, unable to socialize?

How about joining us at Noontime each weekday for the
        Stir Crazy Net.
