Hello all, Well, I have just spent the better part of three days building and trying to tune up my Gulf Alpha 5 element yagi only to find it's as deaf as a post. I also can't get the SWR to anything lower than 1.7 to 1. Normally I wouldn't worry about that but Icom 910H's are notorious for cutting their output power when they are feeding a poorly tuned antenna.
So, does anyone have a 5 to 10 element yagi (a 13B2 would be too much for the mast I have available) they KNOW that works that they want to sell? I think a Cushcraft A14810S would be great or perhaps an 2M7 from Msquared. I feel like I've done too much work to go back to my 8 element 2m quad.
