You might consider a decent UPS, most of them will purify the power and give you a small amount of running time while you’re refueling, etc. APC is a very good and long-trusted brand in homes and datacenters alike, with every size you could want.
There are many other good options on Amazon; I’ve personally been eyeing this item: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9D1SPR/?coliid=ASIN-B07H9D1SPR-ATVPDKIKX0DER&colid=SWDVKQQ8X8KT&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Because it has these modular battery expansion packs: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JGF9HKC/?coliid=ASIN-B07JGF9HKC-ATVPDKIKX0DER&colid=SWDVKQQ8X8KT&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I have no experience with these items or even this brand, so take it with a grain of salt (don’t blame me!!!). But either way, a good UPS will convert dirty power to clean power, and give you other added benefits. 73’s!!! ------------------------------------------------- KJ Anderson 253-380-2636 www.linkedin.com/in/scrumnerd<http://www.linkedin.com/in/scrumnerd> From: BVARC <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Will Gray via BVARC Sent: Monday, June 15, 2020 1:15 PM To: BRAZOS VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB <[email protected]> Cc: Will Gray <[email protected]> Subject: [BVARC] Emergency Power Quality I have a 5500 watt diesel generator that gives me plenty of power but the waveform of the 60Hz power is flat topped and very rough (bad power for good equipment). I am looking for a source of an AC-AC inverter that would take that bad power and convert it to pure sine wave. Does anyone have any knowledge of a source of such an inverter. Lots of DC to AC inverters around small to very large (solar panel). But I have been unable to locate a an AC-AC inverter. 73s Will Gray, KB7QL -- 431 Forest Circle Ruston, LA 71270-2642 H:318-251-2219 C:318-265-2976 (text) [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>
