Note that on the ARRL site there are two BVARCs listed for association - one
is misspelled.Use the Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club, that's BRAZOS with an S!
I'll have my 6 QSOs uploaded this week. I cobbled together a temporary station,
and was able to operate for a couple hours, using a "new to me" rig and an
antenna I'd never used before - propped up on a painters pole (yes, I'm still
painting). Fortunately I found all the various extraneous bits w/o a trip to
Home Depot, including fashioning a throw down 1:1 current balun (around a
chipped core), to cut the RF interference...
