Was just doing some reading on qrz about the new solar cycle coming up, as well
as noticing action on 15 meters in the panadapter. This got me looking at HF
conditions and re-reading some stuff on what "A" and "K", SFI...
I'll attach something to this email another Ham sent during out last solar
cycle, sure helps. But reading it again, I do have one question.
When someone says "lower HF bands", do they mean lower frequency? or lower
wavelength? I always seem to ask myself that question every few years. In the
attached read, he mentions lower/higher HF bands several times.
Thanks and good luck with some DX this solar cycle!
