Jim,

I had family events that took precedence over my contesting. But, I did take
my TS-480 remote with me. I heard you calling CQ on 40 meters and called you
several times but you could not hear me. In fact, I only worked a few
stations and gave up after a couple of hours. When I got back home, I found
my amp had tripped and my remote was QRP with 5 watts instead of 700 watts.
No one could hear me on 40 meters with the high noise level snd 5 watts. I
finally got about one hour of mostly S+P operation done from home on 20
meters on Sunday and worked N5XZ.
