I have an old astatic microphone which I used on my tube-type radio back in ole
1987. It was always great when I was using it. On one international call the
contact could hear the air coming from my AC. Mine has a standard audio plug.
The new radios have a different connector. Would I be able to use my radio to
the new microphone connections they are using now?

Also, I am looking to get back into HF, and would not mind finding a good
tube-type late generation transceiver for around $200 in case someone has one
of these just taking up space in their shack.
