Currently the City of Sugar Land has stopped all reservations for the
community/recreational center. Once they open that up, BVARC may have
face-to-face meetings.
However, even when Sugar Land starts opening reservations, there may not be any
face-to-face meetings due to the demographics of the club. The BVARC BOD had
discussed it and we will not put people in a possible hazardous situation. Even
though some people feel it might be "safe", we cannot take that chance.
Once the infection rates drop there is a plan to continue the ZOOM meetings
with the live meeting. The Zoom meetings have turned out to be a great addition
to the club meetings and every one on the BOD feels that continuing will be a
plus for the club.
If anyone if having trouble installing Zoom on their computer or making it
work, please contact me off line.

I bet somebody at some point including myself can help you, but if you can run
YouTube live you can run Zoom if properly setup. You would not want to live
stream video back for one thing.

I would assume that given our meeting location is in a "City Owned" facility,
the CITY is required to follow occupancy guidelines issued by the State of
Texas & by Fort Bend County.
Might broadcasting LIVE meetings on "YouTube" be an option once PUBLIC MEETINGS
can be resumed.?
I'm too far away & given age, don't have the ability to drive the distance &
can only imagine UBER or TAXI fare would bust my VISA CARD..
ZOOM is out of question on my PC & Norton Lifelock 360 blocks it from my phone.

I strongly recommend that the membership determine what the BVARC COVID rules
are and proceed according to those rules.
I propose that it is sufficient to wear a mask, stay at a distance from each
other at gatherings, wash hands frequently, and don’t touch one thing after
another indiscriminately.
As to “locking down”, I suggest that you ignore any such restrictions and take
it on yourselves as responsible adults to determine how to get on with your
lives, businesses and entertainments.

If only the venue was open.......then only about 15 people in the room with
current social distancing suggestions Looks like Zoom for awhile
still.......IMHO.
