It is likely that the BVARC 146.940 repeater will be down for the next day or so. Considering this, we will be unable to hold the 8:00 Monday evening net or the noon Stir Crazy Net. Please check the usual frequency occasionally to see when this repeater comes back in service. Please help spread the word.
However, after speaking with Mike Hargrove, operators are suggested to monitor the 147.000 repeater, PL Tone 103.5. This is the NW Harris County ARES repeater, and should be a good source of information. Repeating what we discussed on our net today, if emergency call 911, for Houston information call 311.
