Manual?  That's just crazy talk!

Besides the manual, I'd check all the connections and test the batteries.
Inverters usually have shutoffs when the input voltage is low or the
current draw is too high.  You need solid connections and large enough
wire, hopefully a short run..  2000 watts will be greater than 100 amps
draw.  That's a big wire.
