*THE TDXS MEETING AND PRESNTATION HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED.* *PRESENTATION ON THE SMITH CHART and ASSOCIATED TRANSMISSION LINE* *FUNCTIONALITY SHOULD BE OF GREAT INTEREST TO ALL..... W5RH* Doug Seyler W9LCQ is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. Topic: Texas DX Society Monthly Meeting Time: Mar 18, 2021 07:00 PM Central Time (US and Canada) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Robie Elms AJ4F will present his overview of the Smith Chart. This presentation should be very enlightening to new owners of the nanoVNA who wonder what that odd circular graph is all about. The Smith Chart is a graphical tool that has been around since the 1930s and is a great way to understand transmission lines and many other RF design issues. Since the real Smith Chart is actually a graph and we don't use those much anymore, he will use an electronic version for the demonstrations called SimSmith by Ward AE6TY. This is a great tool. ___________________________________________________________________________ Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83477642993?pwd=a0Nhak9MMStlaXZxTXg0VmhXWHBiUT09 Meeting ID: 834 7764 2993 Passcode: 806565 One tap mobile +13462487799,,83477642993#,,,,*806565# US (Houston) Dial by your location +1 346 248 7799 US (Houston) -- Rick Hiller *e-mail: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Cell: 832-474-3713* *Physical: 9031 Troulon Drive* * Houston, TX 77036* <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=icon> Virus-free. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=link> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2>
