This is a reminder that the March 18 TDXS Meeting on ZOOM is still a GO! We look forward to seeing you on Thursday at 7 p.m. I am the Meeting Host.
The Meeting ID and Passcode are listed below. 73, Doug Seyler W9LCQ TDXS Secretary From: Doug Seyler [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 2021 6:25 PM To: '[email protected]'; 'BRAZOS VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB' Subject: TDXS March Meeting Featuring "The Smith Chart: an Overview" by Robie Elms AJ4F Doug Seyler W9LCQ is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. Topic: Texas DX Society Monthly Meeting Time: Mar 18, 2021 07:00 PM Central Time (US and Canada) ____________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________ Robie Elms AJ4F will present his overview of the Smith Chart. This presentation should be very enlightening to new owners of the nanoVNA who wonder what that odd circular graph is all about. The Smith Chart is a graphical tool that has been around since the 1930s and is a great way to understand transmission lines and many other RF design issues. Since the real Smith Chart is actually a graph and we don't use those much anymore, he will use an electronic version for the demonstrations called SimSmith by Ward AE6TY. This is a great tool. ___________________________________________________________________________ Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83477642993?pwd=a0Nhak9MMStlaXZxTXg0VmhXWHBiUT09 Meeting ID: 834 7764 2993 Passcode: 806565 One tap mobile +13462487799,,83477642993#,,,,*806565# US (Houston) +16699006833,,83477642993#,,,,*806565# US (San Jose) Dial by your location +1 346 248 7799 US (Houston) +1 669 900 6833 US (San Jose) +1 253 215 8782 US (Tacoma) +1 312 626 6799 US (Chicago) +1 929 205 6099 US (New York) +1 301 715 8592 US (Washington DC) Meeting ID: 834 7764 2993 Passcode: 806565 Find your local number: https://us02web.zoom.us/u/kbvLFmI0fN
