Does anyone know of someone around the greater Houston area that works on SB-220’s. I was able to pick one up for a pretty good price and supposedly is working but needs tubes (looking to order some in the next week or two). Looks like there are quite a few upgrades already done - grids ground, soft start, soft key, parasitic suppressor, caps replaced in 2018, stand by switch added. Once I get the tubes would like someone to go through it and make sure it all looks good. It does need some work - tuning capacitor shaft bent, one band does not work - seller didn’t know which one. It’s wired for 240 which I am going to have to run, so that’s another reason I was looking for someone as I can’t plug it in right now. (Yeah I know I could make a cord and plug it into the dryer outlet, but if I’m going to do all that I might as well run it). Looks like the soft start is 240 only and would have to be bypassed to run 120. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
