I still need your input as I will be going to the Skeeters this week to get ticket PRICING and need to be able to give them a rough idea about how many of you are interested in attending a game.
Several have responded and if you are one, thank you. Please respond to me directly off the reflector to [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> . The choice of days to attend has been narrowed to either: A Thursday when the Skeeters offer $1 hotdogs and $2 draft beer and sodas. First Pitch is at 7:05. Or Sunday when the "Kids run the bases" after the game. First Pitch is 6:05 pm. I also need to know if you want to be on the FIRST BASE side or THIRD BASE SIDE. Third base is closest to the entrance and the sun sets behind the 1st base side putting this side in the shade soonest. The consensus so far has been to include parking which if paid in advance is $5. Parking when you arrive is $10. No food will be included in your ticket price and none is allowed to be brought into the stadium. You may however bring in ONE sealed bottle of water per person. Each person MUST carry their own. ALL Bags will be checked by security which is provided by the Houston Astros, the parent club. I am looking at the following dates: Thursday July 8th against the Tacoma Rainiers - AAA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Sunday July 11th against the Tacoma Rainiers. Thursday July 29th against the El Paso Chihuahuas - the AAA affiliate of the San Diego Padres Sunday August 1st against the El Paso Chihuahuas Please let me know ASAP so that I may put a list together and get back with you. I will be looking to save us all a little money also as thick prices from Home plate to 1st or 3rd bases are higher now than from the bases to the corners. You can visit www.sugarlandskeeters.com for stadium layout. I will also need to know how many tickets you will need. Until I finalize the date and time, nothing is firm and no money will be needed. I also need to see how the group sales office want to handle it as ALL tickets are on-line and printed by you or sent to your phone including parking. 73 de Scott KD5FBA [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
