The number of signups for each semester in CWops CWA continues to
increase.
Signing up now does not guarantee a class in SEPTEMBER!

For the Jan. / Feb. class (winter semester) there were over 800 students
signed up, from all over the world, for the various classes. We were
able to place over 700 into classes. Unfortunately, those that signed up
late were pushed out to the spring semester (Apr. / May - Next year it
will be May / June).
So, signing up early is important, but does not guarantee placement in a
class. The reason is that we usually have some pushed out from the
previous semester that didn't get into a class. We also have current
students in the program moving to the next level up or re-taking the
level they just did (but were not ready to move up yet).
If you haven't heard anything by the beginning of August contact one of
the two CWA Managers (email listed on CWA pages) to see if you will be
assigned to a class in Sept. (Fall semester) or if you will be bumped to
the Winter semester (Jan./Feb.).
One of the problems we have is a lack of consistent Advisors to teach
the classes. In Jan. when we had over 700 students assigned to classes
we also had over 90 Advisors (the most that I am aware of...ever!). For
a number of years we averaged a core group of Advisors in the 35 to 45
range.
I hope that helps you understand the process as well as any other first
time students waiting to get into a CWA class.
