I have no experience with FM on CB.  I run a "highly modified" President 
McKinley model CB with SSB for my 6 hour trips to the ranch and back.  Say what 
you want about 27 Mhz, but it is somewhat valuable when stuck on I-10 not 
knowing why.  Truckers on opposite side give constant reports of what they saw 
in passing.
But again, I have no knowledge of CB FM.
