I am by no means a contester. I may do Field Day and TX QSO Party, all
Phone. But this weekend is the NAQP -- North American QSO Party -- Phone.
I do this one too. So should you.

This is a contest for everyone, neophyte to Old Timer.. Here is why.

1) It involves mostly North American stations, so the signals are
strong even on low antennas.

2) There is activity on all of the HF bands (sans WARC)

3) It is phone / SSB *only.*

4) The exchange/report is *Your name and State*

4) It is a maximum power out of 100 watts *for everyone!!!*

5) it is a 12 hour contest this Saturday 1 PM CDT to Sunday morning 1 AM
CDT

So...... the barriers don't get any lower -- SSB, 100 Watts and state-side
stations on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10.

Log your contacts, send in your totals and let us know how you did -- 1 QSO
or hundreds. It's all fun! Like shooting fish in a barrel. Jump on in
and GL
