If the computer is of recent manufacture, you will need the right tools to
crack the laptop case open. They are made
so that upgrading can be a bear. I have obtained the tools so I can do the
same with my HP Gamer. The repair stores
want $60 to $80 for the job with the customer supplying the RAM.

Just go to the DELL Technologies web page

It's pretty simple to order factory direct any upgrades to most Dell computers,
as well as being added to the Dell mail list.

I am upgrading my company Dell Latitude 5490 with another 8GB of RAM. Watched a
YouTube video on it and it seem pretty simple. However I would appreciate
someone stepping me through it to make sure I don’t screw it up. Anyone got a
few minutes to spare for this?

Thanks,
