That's about 7 yrs ago, isn't it Pump?? Thought it may have been recent...

FYI for all

The Beaumont W5APX 34/94 (100Hz) may be returning to the air by
this weekend. I have to mate a new jumper to the antenna Heliax run at the
tower base. Eventually, when a tower crew is scheduled, it will be improved
with new 1 5/8 Heliax to a better DB224 at 600ft vs the 7/8inch fed DB268
at 425ft its currently on. The Kenwood TKR750 was flooded by Harvey but
after attempts to repair it, I decided to go with TK790H with 100w TX and
TK790B RX with 45w TX. Rack mounted and programmed identical...if one
section dies, swap cables and it's back on at lower power.

A sister TK790 rptr on 146.28/88 (100Hz) is planned in Lake Charles La at
600ft and will be linked via UHF/430 full duplex Midland Syntech 1s and the
Linkcomm RLC controllers. Future plans include restoring Maxie, La back to
operational status on a new pair, the 147.24 pair it was on was
reallocated, linking it to LCH after swapping to a RLC controller and then
looking for something east in Baton Rouge. But the RF path across the
Atchafalaya river and basin may be a challenge. I don't feel like stepping
on any gators LOL

The 444.5 rptr in Beaumont under my call is now DMR CC1 on Brandmiester but
the antenna was severely damaged (I think it got blown away!) by Hurricane
Laura..soo looking at going to a DB420 at 600ft as well when 94 gets moved
up. I'm waiting on the TV station to get the tower crew scheduled for their
new 4inch Heliax and antenna at the same time.
