My is a 40M dipole. Still up. Texas Traffic and 7290 netsvsay it and my 746
pro sound good. Tuners: 746 internal or MFJ 969 MANUAL. Love tuning 969 on
low power, and seeing the meters swing until you get that SWR dip! Dominic

Congratulations on the TS2000. I've had one for over 10 years now and am
extremely happy with it. My original antenna was a G5RV-Jr in the back yard in
Cypress. It was only noticed once, by a fellow ham who coincidentally was at
the front door with his daughter selling Girls Scout cookies. I'm in Richmond
now in a brand new subdivision without any trees yet. I have a Hustler 6-BTV
and have painted it black and mounted a flag on it. I've had it about 1 year
now and haven't had any comments yet from an HOA. I did apply for permission to
have the flag pole. Sheree WM5N

There are almost too many resources for discussion and recommendation, a very
nice problem to have.
Based on a number of comments, including remarks by Dave Casler in his Youtube
channel, I’ve landed on this:
MFJ Ultra-Lite Off-Center Fed Dipole Antennas MFJ-2010
I’m not exactly sure yet how I’ll get it 35 feet up, but
that’s a problem regardless of which antenna, unless I go with a tower.
Living under an HOA in a gated compound, I prefer to see if I can get by with
just the wire and make that “inconspicuous”.
If anyone has a strong conviction that this is just the wrong thing to start
with, I’d love to know why and what you would recommend instead. Keep in
mind, this is not the only antenna I will buy that, just the first.
Thanks, all.
