My friend and mentor Tom Morton, W5TOM died this morning. Called by his son
Rob, who said pneumonia and covid got him with few other details as I cried.

Tom was a retired professional photographer of years ago shooting the Beatles,
other musicians, working for many magazines and ad layouts. I did get to see
some of his original photos he cataloged and sold a few negatives of late on
the internet.

Kind but sarcastic soul, skilled in debate and philosophy with widely ranged
worldly experiences. Good traits for any ham rag chew on 17 meters. His
prepping was truncated to a last stand from behind the chimney, with many empty
AK magazines scattered around.

I was blessed to have had him as a friend to teach me the important aspects of
life.

73 & GL in contest Tom.
