Hi Riju, welcome to the hobby! That radio and antenna is a great combination. I would recommend checking out the FT-65R as well since that has a Li-Ion battery pack. Otherwise that’s a great start! A speaker mic is nice to have, as well as a cheap mag mount antenna for the car.
