Do we have a community for GMRS in Houston?
its Midland who make some GMRS radios that is acting as big offroad event sponsor.. they are pushing for offroaders to use GMRS .. Most still have CB radios though..

Interesting comment. I read an off-road magazine and said the same thing about GMRS. > On Aug 26, 2022, at 5:35 PM, Dominic Mazoch via BVARC < [email protected]> wrote: > > I was watching a vid from Ham Radio 2.0. Jason and Giga Parts seem to be joining forces with the off road community. Off road is gravitating to GMRS. Both communities are into various aspects of 12-13.8 volt systems. Invite them to come visit the meet? A joint meet in the future? Ram or a like company a sponsor? > > > Dominic Mazoch > > ________________________________________________ > Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club > > BVARC mailing list > [email protected]> http://mail.bvarc.org/mailman/listinfo/bvarc_bvarc.org> Publicly available archives are available here: https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
