the LABOR problem, is exactly why I posted this article on the reflector.
so far several folks have offered some support..
My opinion is we have a BEACON PARTY once a month where a bunchof us get
together at a restaurant, or someones house or at bayland park
OR AT MY STORE IF NEED BE...
and fold and address the newsletters..   If we act like it is FUN, then i
expect to generate a lot of helpers wanting to socialize..
If we act like its HARD BACKBREAKING LABOR, then no one will want to help..
do you remember the story of TOM SAWYER?Tom appeared on the sidewalk with a
bucket of whitewash and a long-handled brush. He surveyed the fence, and all
gladness left him and a deep melancholy settled down upon his spirit.

Tom pretended it was FUN and BEN did all the whitewashing..
SMILE...its all in the presentation

I have discussed this issue with K5IZO often.  I know how passionately he feels
about the Beacon.

He and I have agreed to disagree.  I declared for an electronically based
Beacon going forward.

Actually, NONE of the options offered address the real problem.  That is, who
is going to put the Beacon together and publish it?   Whether  you chose option
1,2,3 or 4, A person or persons has to do the work of editing and putting
together and sending out the Beacon month after month.  That problem still
remains regardless of how you deal with the costs.
