Many years ago, Ross Lawler used to distribute copies of the then BVARC 
Newsletter with BVARC Membership forms to EPO, Houston Amateur Radio 
Supply and other advertisers once the newsletter had been published, 
initially that was how I learned about BVARC about 20 years ago, before 
I joined, all due to a BVARC Newsletter at Houston Amateur Radio Supply 
when it was located near SPRING, Tx. which is where I bought a used 
scanner & took my FIRST HT to be serviced.

APPLICATION FORMS inserted in the BVARC Newsletter most likely resulted 
in quite a few NEW Members over the years. & I REALLY MISS ROSS for his 
MENTORING and TECHNICIAN CLASSES.
