All is very helpful to us newbies to the hobby and as you mention, there are endless details that we’re confronted with. These resources are very important and I’d recommend that all of us new guys find an Elmer to help guide us. K5PGF, has helped me immensely. Also the daily rag chews are chocked full of info. Today’s was very informative.
Many Thanks & 73

When you first get into Ham Radio there is a literal fire hose of information being sprayed your way.    Parsing it all is difficult at times.  So, it is always great to find a source of good, clear, concise information.  Referenced below is a Q & A for coax.  (Note: maybe the 2nd / Stub portion is a bit more information than you need right now, but it won't be after a few years on the hobby)   Download it and save it in your PDF library of Antenna System information.
