Kent was born on September 8, 1942. in Carthage, Texas to the late Ernest Marshall and Mildred Rogers Marshall. His first wife, Warrene Hanks Marshall, preceded him in death in 2008. Kent is survived by wife Linda Marshall, brother Danny Marshall, and sister Sherry Marshall Holcomb, son Michael Cass Marshall, daughter Beth Marshall Bridges, grandchildren Gracie Bridges, Burke Bridges, Adelaide Bridges, Cade Bridges, Cade Marshall. and Macy Marshall. Kent followed in his father's footsteps to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree at Texas A&M in 1967. He loved A & M and found Aggies over the world in his travels. During his electrical engineering career, he traveled Europe, the Middle East and Saudi Arabia, living and working there with his family for two years. He was interested in Ham Radio at a very young age, getting his Ham Radio license as an early teen. While at A & M, he was one of the officers of A&M Ham Operators Club. In later life, he was a member of the Houston Echo Society & Ham Radio Club in the Houston area. He loved growing plants, especially Blackberries and Plumerias. It gave him joy to see them thrive. He also loved animals, especially dogs. He recently fell in love with a Golden Doodle by the name of Max. Kent loved that Max would sleep on Kent's feet whenever he had a chance. Kent became a Christian at an early age and his love and heart for God grew throughout his lifetime as a true disciple of Christ, God, and God's people. His love of Christ revealed itself in his passion for Gospel Music. Kent has fought the good fight, he finished the race, and kept the faith. Now there is in store for him the Crown of Righteousness which the Lord will reward to him on that day. Not only for him, but also to all who have longed for His appearing. THE LORD'S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. The kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, Amen In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society 73, Lee Roy F.
