Established in 1993, the Houston TranStar brand is globallyrecognized for managing southeast Texas’ transportation system and functioningas the primary coordination site for state, county and local agencies whenresponding to incidents and emergencies. And amateur radio is involved withTranStar for communications during those incidents and emergencies. So, for the March 9th general meeting, BVARC will begiven a tour of the facility. The tour starts at 7 pm and will last toapproximately 8:30 pm. We need to be at the west side conference room at 6:45pm for access. If anyone is interested, we can meet at the Canyon Creek Bar andGrill at 5:30 pm for dinner. This will be our second trip to TranStar andeveryone really liked it the first time.
