If you search “BSA radio merit badge” in YT, quite a few videos pop up. if teaching as a class/group, keep it to 10 or less Scouts if trying to get done in 1 day. It is a lot of technical stuff to absorb. Part 9a#6 is talking on air for 10 minutes. That is best done on a different day of teaching a group. As an ASM you know MB are to be done by the Scout on their own time and then meet with you to show, explain, do, etc. Realistically that isn’t how most MBs get done. LOL SHAC just hosted the Radio MB last Saturday. I was there as backup. I will check for other links and resources handed out. While I have never taught the class, I amlooking forward to it. I’ve noticed several posts where folks have mentioned slides/presentations that were passed on give to folks who were teaching a Radio MeritBadge. Can someone please send to me thesame info that was given. It would be much appreciated. In turn; in the future, I could volunteer for BVARCH toteach the class to another BSA Troop.
