Many of you might not know, BVARC nominated me back in 1994 to be a WAS and VUCC card checker. There was no one in the area doing it. At the time, to be a DXCC card checker, you had to be nominated by a contest club. Things have changed and today I became a DXCC card checker as well. Since I retired and moved out of Houston, I have not been able to attend but a few of the BVARC meetings. However, I can still meet up with you if you need your cards checked on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It also gives me another reason to attend the Hamfest in March each year.
