Well, it failed Saturday night, so I was able to use it Friday night and most
of Saturday…

58/hr with a broken rotator while chasing multi is impressive

This contest had GREAT conditions! The bands for full and seems like there was

almost never a lack of mults, but often a lack of space to call CQ. I spent more

time hunting mults this time and think it shows. I'm very happy with my overall

score, I've never made almost 2.5 million before! However, this contest was also

a little bittersweet: I replaced my T2X rotator last Sunday with a used one and

wouldn't you know it, it failed on me! It will not turn most of the time

now...maybe there was something defective with the unit I put in, or I ran it

too hard. Impossible to say. Very disappointed. On top of that, my SteppIR

controller now shows a "Driver Problem" error message, probably why my

SWR was higher than expected on several bands. This is a fun but complicated

hobby! I think I'm gonna buy a Yaesu rotator...
