I’ve participated in the past and intend to restart doing the 40 meter hunt, in 
a couple weeks (re-erecting QTH antenna). There is a ham KZ5J, who lives near 
the Bayland Community Center who is quite proficient as a hound.

I use a KX2, listening to the Fox transmission in the left ear and searching 
for his listening frequency in the right ear.
